The official spokesperson of Mali's army, Modyibu Teravari on Tuesday said that they were not fighting against any religious or ethnic group in Mali.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Teravari indicated that they were fighting against terrorists in the north of the country who wanted to eradicate the values of a contemporary life.
We want everyone to support the security operations of Mali's army, Teravari noted.
Currently, France and other African states help the operations of Mali's army.
Meanwhile, the government of Mali on Tuesday announced that the state of emergency in the country was extended for an other three months.
