Turkish ambassador meets students, academics in Jordan
Ambassador Caymazoglu and officials meet with Turkish students and academics to discuss scholarships and cultural initiatives
AMMAN
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Jordan Yakup Caymazoglu on Sunday met with Turkish students and academics in the capital during a program focused on Türkiye’s education diplomacy.
Organized by the Amman Education Counsellorship and hosted by the Jordan Representation of the Türkiye Maarif Foundation, the breakfast event brought together officials, scholars, and scholarship students supported by Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education.
Among those attending were Amman Education Counsellor Burhan Okutan, Türkiye Maarif Foundation Amman Representative Veysi Kaya, Yunus Emre Institute Amman Turkish Cultural Center Director Professor Mustafa Ozturk, Amman Maarif Dormitory Director Burak Duran, and Turkish academics working in Jordan.
During the meeting, participants discussed Türkiye’s education diplomacy initiatives in Jordan, opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation, and support for scholarship students’ academic and cultural development.
