Hamas hands over remains of another Israeli hostage under ceasefire deal
Red Cross teams on their way to deliver body to Israeli forces in Gaza, army says
JERUSALEM / ISTANBUL
The Palestinian group Hamas returned on Sunday the remains of another Israeli hostage under a Gaza ceasefire agreement, the army said.
An Israeli military statement said the body was transferred to the Red Cross teams in southern Gaza and was on its way to Israeli forces inside the enclave.
Hamas said early Sunday that it would hand over the remains of soldier Hadar Goldin to the Red Cross in Rafah. The soldier was captured by Palestinian fighters in 2014 during an Israeli war in Gaza.
