Turkish aid group distributes winter aid packs in Syria
Humanitarian Relief Foundation provides firewood and food to 500 families
A Turkish aid group distributed winter aid packages to families in Syria at refugee camps in northwestern Idlib province, the charity said on Tuesday.
The Istanbul-based Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) in a written statement stated that it handed out firewood and food packages to 500 families.
Selim Tosun, media representative of IHH for Syria, said the harsh winter makes life difficult in the refugee camps.
"We provided firewood and food packages to fulfill the needs of families ... living in the rurals of Idlib, and 500 families benefited from the [recent] distribution," he added.
