Turkey on Friday said it has disbursed the last installment of the pledged grant to Palestine to help contribute to its development.

"In accordance with the Grant Agreement signed between Turkey and Palestine on 15 September 2017, aimed at contributing to the social and economic development of the State of Palestine, the third and last installment of the 10 million US Dollar grant pledged by Turkey, amounting to 3.5 million US Dollars, was disbursed to the State of Palestine on 24 May 2019,” Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.

The ministry added that the grant is aimed at relieving the economic difficulties of the Palestinian people during the holy month of Ramadan.

"Turkey will continue to contribute to the well-being of Palestine with all its capabilities," it said.
