Sharm el-Sheikh summit brings together leaders of more than 20 countries to solidify Gaza ceasefire

ISTANBUL
US President Donald Trump departed Israel on Monday, heading to Egypt’s Red Sea city of Sharm el-Sheikh to attend an international peace summit on the Gaza Strip.
The summit is expected to open later on Monday, co-chaired by Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Trump visited Israel early Monday, shortly after the Palestinian group Hamas released 20 living Israeli hostages under a Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The Sharm el-Sheikh summit brings together leaders of more than 20 countries to solidify the ceasefire and advance post-war reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
