Two rockets fired from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula fell to earth in southern Israel, the Israeli military said Monday.
The missiles landed in an open area and did not result in any casualties, according to an army statement.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but earlier this month a Sinai-based group -- said to be linked to the Daesh terrorist organization -- claimed responsibility for four rockets fired from the peninsula at Israel.
