Kuwait’s Defense Ministry says 67 armed forces personnel injured since start of Iranian attacks

ISTANBUL

Kuwait’s Defense Ministry said Friday that 67 members of the armed forces have been injured since the start of Iranian attacks.

The ministry also announced that it had detected and dealt with 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones that targeted Kuwaiti airspace since Feb. 28.

The developments come amid escalating regional tensions linked to the ongoing war carried out by Israel and the US against Iran.

Kuwait hosts US military facilities and bases, making it one of the countries closely monitoring the evolving security situation in the region as tensions continue to rise.
