Royal court says King Abdullah underwent surgery to treat an incisional hernia

Jordan's King Abdullah II underwent a successful surgery on Tuesday to treat an incisional hernia, the royal court said in a statement.
The statement said the monarch was discharged from the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman after the minor operation.
“He will resume his daily schedule tomorrow,” it added.
