Jordan reports 356 incidents of falling debris since outbreak of US-Iran war
Public Security Directorate says child sustained minor injuries since Feb. 28
AMMAN
Jordanian authorities on Monday reported 356 incidents of falling debris in the country since the outbreak of war between Iran, the US and Israel late last month.
A statement by the Public Security Directorate said civil defense teams had dealt with 356 reports of falling debris and fragments in most cities across the country since Feb. 28.
It added that a child sustained minor injuries in the northern province of Irbid since hostilities began.
Regional escalation has raged since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran since Feb. 28, killing so far around 1,200 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries, which it says are targeting “US military assets.”
