Israeli forces arrested at least 15 Palestinians in multiple raids across the West Bank on Friday while illegal Israeli settlers carried out several attacks on civilians, according to local and security sources.
The detainees were from Yatta, Qalqilya, Duma, and Jenin, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Separately, illegal Israeli settlers carried out attacks on Palestinian civilians and property in several areas.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, two residents were beaten, while fruit trees and vehicles were vandalized.
Illegal settlers set fire to four vehicles and a home in Attara, northwest of Ramallah, leaving material damage and spraying racist slogans.
Two young men were shot with live rounds during an illegal settlers' attack in Al-Mazra’a, east of Ramallah.
According to data from the Palestinian Authority’s Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, illegal settlers committed 2,153 attacks during the first half of 2025, resulting in the deaths of four Palestinians.
Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, at least 1,014 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,000 injured in the West Bank by Israeli forces and illegal settlers, according to the Health Ministry.
In a landmark opinion last July, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal. It demanded the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
