Israeli army strikes several areas in Khuzestan, southwestern Iran
Hostilities broke out on June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes

ISTANBUL
Israeli fighter jets on Friday evening hit several areas across the Khuzestan province of southwestern Iran, local media reported.
Around 3 pm local time (1130GMT), Israeli forces attacked a point near Sepidar in Ahvaz, said Iran’s Mehr News Agency.
Mahshahr, an area around the town of Madani was also attacked, added the agency.
Another Israeli attack pummeled an agricultural well in the city of Andimeshk, killing some civilians in the area, said Mehr.
Hostilities broke out on June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, in Iran, 639 people have been killed and more than 1,300 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to Iranian media reports.
