GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL

At least 35 more Palestinians were killed and scores of others injured, with several still trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings as the Israeli army continued to attack different parts of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to medics.

Medical sources told Anadolu that two Palestinians were killed in the Al-Nafaq area of Gaza City.

Six more people were killed in an Israeli strike on the Shati refugee camp in the same city, while a woman and a child were killed by army fire in the central city of Deir al-Balah.

The Israeli army shelled a house in the Al-Zawayda town of the central Gaza Strip, killing 11 people, including women and children, and injuring nine others. Several civilians are still trapped under the rubble.

In Khan Younis, four people, two of them women, were killed and 13 others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house near the Jordanian Field Hospital in southern Gaza. Another civilian was killed in a separate Israeli strike in the same city.

Another Palestinian lost his life to an Israeli drone strike in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, as two more civilians were killed by army fire in the same city.

Two Palestinians were also killed and others injured when the Israeli army shelled a tent sheltering displaced people in the central city of Deir al-Balah, medics said.

In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, four people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house, while several others were injured in nearby strikes, according to medics.

The Israeli army has killed more than 65,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.
