Israeli army kills 100 Palestinians in Gaza, including aid seekers
Hundreds wounded in attacks across Gaza, according to medical sources

At least 100 Palestinians were killed, including many seeking food aid, and hundreds wounded in Israeli attacks Wednesday across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
A medical source told Anadolu that 17 people including two children lost their lives and several others were injured in two strikes in the Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Eight were killed by Israeli gunfire while attempting to obtain humanitarian aid in the Netzarim area in central Gaza, the official Wafa news agency said, citing medical sources.
Three other Palestinians waiting for aid were killed by Israeli army gunfire west of Rafah city in southern Gaza.
A medical source said that Israeli army fire killed two people and injured several others in central Gaza City.
The Israeli army also killed nine Palestinians, four of whom were children, and injured others in airstrikes that targeted civilians and a home in western Gaza City, medics said.
Five others including a mother and two of her children were killed by Israeli shelling on a Palestinian house in northwestern Gaza City, according to medical sources.
Rescue teams recovered the bodies of three Palestinians and rescued five others from the rubble of two houses in Jabalia Al-Nazla in northern Gaza following an Israeli airstrike. Some people remain missing under the rubble.
Ten Palestinians were also killed and others injured in an Israeli attack on two houses in Deir al-Balah and the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Rescue teams recovered the body of a young Palestinian from the rubble in the town of Abasan in eastern Khan Younis, a medical source said.
Five Palestinians, including two waiting for aid delivery, were killed by Israeli strikes and gunfire in Khan Younis.
Two more Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering of people near the Omari Mosque in Jabalia Al-Balad, northern Gaza.
In southwestern Gaza City, six people were killed when an Israeli strike hit a residential home, medical officials reported.
In Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood, the Israeli bombardment of a home killed eight people, including two children. Several others remain unaccounted for, sources said.
Another strike in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City killed nine Palestinians, including five children, after an Israeli missile struck a house, according to the sources.
South of Gaza City, 12 people were killed and others injured -- some critically -- when a residential building in Shejaiya was bombed, medical sources added.
The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing over 56,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
