Israel launches new airstrikes on Yemen’s Hudaydah port
No details yet available about casualties or damage

ISTANBUL
A new wave of Israeli airstrikes hit Yemen’s port city of Al Hudaydah on Tuesday, Houthi media said.
The Houthi-run Al-Masirah television said 12 strikes struck the port, with air defenses confronting Israeli aircraft attacking the area.
The Israeli army said the attacks targeted Houthi military infrastructure at the port.
No details were yet available about casualties or damage.
The strikes came shortly after the Israeli army issued an evacuation order for the port, warning people and vessels to leave immediately ahead of an expected attack.
Last month, an Israeli strike in the Yemeni capital Sanaa killed 12 top Houthi officials, including Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, and nine other ministers.
The Houthis and Israel have exchanged attacks in the past months amid rising tension over Tel Aviv’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, where almost 65,000 people have been killed since October 2023.
