Explosions were heard across Doha late Saturday as air defenses intercepted incoming missiles, Qatari media reported.

Al Jazeera said the blasts coincided with new interception activity in the skies above the capital.

A Defense Ministry official told the broadcaster that an early warning radar system in northern Qatar was targeted, but no fatalities or injuries were recorded, with authorities assessing the damage.

The Interior Ministry urged the public earlier to remain indoors until further notice.
