Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Monday inaugurated the fourth edition of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025” in the capital, Cairo.

The exhibition will continue at the Egypt International Exhibitions and Conferences Center until Dec. 4, with the participation of 38 countries, according to an Anadolu correspondent.

Senior exhibitors and leading global companies in the fields of armament, defense, and security, both regionally and internationally, are taking part, according to Egypt’s state news agency MENA.

The event is also hosting official delegations from more than 100 countries and around 45,000 specialized visitors.

The agency said the exhibition features the latest land, naval, and air systems, equipment, and technologies and aims to build regional and global defense partnerships.
