Drones hit fuel tanks at Oman’s Salalah port, others shot down, media report

Several drones were shot down on Wednesday, while others struck fuel tanks at Oman's Salalah port, the Omani media said, citing a security source.
Omani officials are working relentlessly to monitor and counter the attacks, the Oman News Agency reported, citing a source who added that no casualties have been reported in the attack on Salalah port.
Tensions gripped the Middle East after Israel and the US launched joint attacks on Iran on Feb. 28 and have so far killed more than 1,200 people, including Ali Khamenei, the country's former supreme leader, and more than 150 schoolgirls.
Tehran retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and several Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
