At least 17 people were killed, several others injured in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip since early Thursday, according to medical sources.
Eight people were killed in Israeli strikes targeting civilians gathered for aid distribution in Gaza City.
Israeli fighter jets struck a residential apartment in the Zeitoun neighborhood of the city, leaving four civilians dead.
In the central enclave, five Palestinians, including children and women, were killed, and others injured in an Israeli drone strike on tents for the displaced in the Bureij refugee camp.
Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 58,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
