ALEPPO, Syria/ISTANBUL
An Anadolu team has filmed the YPG/SDF terrorist organization's prison in the district of al-Tabqah in Syria's Raqqa province.
Accompanied by Syrian soldiers, the team recorded videos of corridors, wards, cells, and abandoned items inside the prison.
Some citizens gathered in front of the prison, waiting to be reunited with their lost relatives.
According to SANA news agency, the terrorist organization killed inmates as it withdrew from al-Tabqah.
The Syrian government has accused the YPG/SDF terror group of committing war crimes in violation of the Geneva Conventions and condemned it in the strongest terms.
As many as 64 members of the terror group, who were surrounded by the Syrian army in al-Mansoura region near al-Tabqah, surrendered to Syrian security forces.
It was reported that the Syrian army had taken control of al-Tabqah from the terrorist organization.
The Media and Information Department of the Syrian Defense Ministry also announced that 483 members of the group contacted authorities to quit the organization, and that 181 members surrendered.
The YPG/SDF terror group had claimed it would withdraw from the areas it occupied west of the Euphrates River and move to the east side.
However, the terrorist organization continues its occupation of some areas along the Euphrates River. Clashes are ongoing between Syrian forces and the terrorist organization in the occupied areas.
