GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL

At least 27 people were killed in fresh Israeli strikes across the war-torn Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to medics.

Medical sources said four Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in western Gaza City.

One civilian was also killed, and others were injured when Israeli warplanes struck a residential apartment in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in the same city.

Another Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike near a school in Jabalia al-Nazla in northern Gaza.

Several others were wounded in Israeli strikes that targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Seven people, including two children, were killed in a strike targeting a civilian gathering in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, Al-Awda Hospital said in a statement. A woman and her child were also killed in another strike on the same camp.

The Israeli army also opened fire on civilians waiting for aid near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, killing 10 people.

Israeli drones hit central Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing one person and injuring a child in a refugee tent.

Another Palestinian was killed, and two others were injured by Israeli army fire while waiting for aid delivery in Rafah, southern Gaza.

Israel has killed at least 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
