Two people were killed Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a motorcycle in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah said it downed an Israeli drone and struck a Merkava tank.
The state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle in the town of Qabrikha, killing two people and wounding two others.
Another Israeli strike targeted a house in the town of Tyre Debba in southern Lebanon, the agency added, without giving details on casualties or damage.
In a statement, Hezbollah said it had shot down an Israeli drone over the skies of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
In a separate statement, the group said it targeted an Israeli Merkava tank at the al-Sammaqa site in the occupied Kfar Shouba Hills in southern Lebanon.
At least 52 people have been killed and over 150 others injured in Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon since Monday.
Tension escalated across the region when the US and Israel launched large-scale attacks on Iran on Saturday that have so far killed nearly 800 people, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Tehran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Gulf countries, which are home to US assets.
