15 Israeli soldiers injured in Gaza battles in past 24 hours

JERUSALEM 

The Israeli army revealed on Friday that 15 soldiers have been injured in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip.  

The number of injured soldiers and officers since the beginning of the war on Oct. 7 has risen to 2,511, compared to 2,496 on Thursday, according to data published on the army's website. 

The data provided details on the injuries, with 386 classified as serious, 661 as moderate, and 1,464 as minor. The report indicated that an additional 15 soldiers and officers were injured since yesterday. 

The statistics confirm that among these, 1,099 were injured in ground battles in the Gaza Strip, an increase from 1,085 on Thursday. 

This means that 14 were injured in ground battles since Thursday, while the circumstances of the last soldier's injury are not yet clear. 

Based on the same data, 408 soldiers and officers are still receiving treatment in hospitals, including 42 in serious condition, 259 in moderate condition, and 107 in minor condition. 

The Israeli army announced an increase in the number of soldiers and officers killed since the beginning of the war on Oct. 7 to 520, including 186 since the start of the ground war in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 27.
