Partial results of 2013 MedGames for Friday

- Men's 75 kg karate
Turkey's Serkan Yagci claimed the gold medal in men's 75 kg tournament in karate defeating his Spanish opponent 7-1.
Spain's Fernando Moreno Paz won the silver while Egypt's Ahmed Solyman and Italy's Luigi Busa won the bronze medal.
- Men's 67kg karate
Omer Kemaloglu of Turkey claimed the gold medal in men's 67kg karate defeating his Moroccan opponent Redouan Kousseksou 4-3.
The winners of the bronze medals were Algerian Mohamed Boudis and Egyptian Magdy Mohamed.
- Men's 60kg karate
Italian Luca Maresca defeated his Egyptian opponent Mohamed Ali 6-4 and earned the gold medal in men's 60kg karate.
French Johan Lopes and Moroccan El Mehdi Benrouida got the bronze medals.
- Women's 61 kg karate
The winner of the gold medal in the category was Egypt's Giana Lotfy.
Turkey's Bahar Erseker got the silver losing to her Egyptian opponent while Italian Laura Posqua and French Lucile Breton won the bronze.
- Women's 55 kg karate
Turkey's national athlete Tugba Yenen received the gold medal in women's 55kg karate.
French Lucie Ignace won the silver while Italian Selene Guglielmi and Spanish Marta Armentia Cerio got the bronze medals.
- Women's 50kg karate
Turkey's Serap Ozcelik triumphed 7-0 over Egyptian opponent Areeg Rashed and won the gold medal in women's 50kg karate.
Following Egypt with silver, France and Italy won the bronze.
- Women's handball
Slovenia triumphed 24-22 over Montenegro in women's handball and qualified for the finals.
Meanwhile, Serbia defeated Croatia 25-16 and made it to the finals as well.
In the same category, Turkey lost 23-29 to Spain and ranked the sixth.
Serbia will play against Slovenia in the final game on Saturday at 6 p.m.
- Women's volleyball
Italy's national volleyball team, defeating Slovenia 3-0, advanced to the finals at the 17th MedGames.
Meanwhile, Turkey toppled Croatia 3-0 and will play against Italy in the finals.
Croatia and Slovenia will play to claim get the bronze.
Greece defeated France 3-1 and came in fifth in women's volleyball followed by France ranking the sixth.
- Men's 400 meters track
The winner of the gold medal in men's 400 meters is Italy's Matteo Galvan with his 45.59.
Egypt's Anas Beshr got the silver while French Mame Ibra Anne got the bronze medal.
Turkey's Yavuz Can came in sixth, clocking 46.70.
- Men's 100 meters track
French Emmanuel Biron earned the gold medal with 10.22 in men's 100 meters finals.
Turkey broke own record with Ramil Guliyev with 10.23 and won the silver.
The bronze medal was claimed by Italy's Michael Tumi with 10.25
- Women's 400 meters track
Italian athlete Chiara Bazzoni won the gold medal in women's 400 meters track with 52.06.
Maria Benedicta Chigbolu of Italy got the silver with 52.66 while French Agnes Raharolahy got the bronze medal with 52.90.
Turkish athletes Birsen Engin and Derya Yildirim ranked the forth and sixth, respectively.
- Women's 3,000m steeplechase
Algerian Amina Betiche broke game record with her 9.40.71 and claimed the gold medal in women's 3,000m steeplechase.
Ranking the third, Turkey's Gulcan Mingir won the bronze at 9.46.08 while Moroccan Salima Elouali Alami got the silver with 9.43.71.
-Men's 50 meter rifle
Italy's Marco De Nicolo won the gold medal with 451.7 points in men's 50 meter rifle three positions.
French Valerian Sauveblane got the silver with 449.3 points and Rajmond Debevec of Slovenia won the bronze with 439.3.
- Men's hammer throw
Egyptian Mostafa El Gamal won the gold medal in men's hammer throw with his 76.68.
Following Hassan Abdelgawad of Egypt getting the silver with a throw of 74.96m, Italy's Nicola Vizzoni won the bronze with 74.86m.
- Canoeing
Spain in men's K-1 1,000m, Slovenia in women's K-1 500m, and Italy in men's K-2 1,000m claimed the gold medals in canoeing.
In men's K-1 1,000m, Slovenia got the silver and Italy got the bronze while Turkey's Sefa Kose ranked the eighth.
In women's K-1 500m, Italy won the silver and Serbia won the bronze medal.
In men's K-2 1,000m, Serbia clinched the silver and Spain got the bronze while Turkey's Engin Erkan and Ozturk Kuru ranked the forth.
