US homeland security secretary hospitalized: Report
Kristi Noem conscious and has spoken with her security detail, according to sources

HAMILTON, Canada
US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was taken to a hospital in Washington, DC by ambulance Tuesday, according to a report by CNN.
Citing two sources familiar with the matter, the report said Noem has remained conscious while at the hospital and has been in communication with her security detail.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told Anadolu that Noem was transported to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution" after experiencing "an allergic reaction."
"She is alert and recovering," McLaughlin added.
