Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed decrees imposing sanctions on 42 companies and six individuals from Iran, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Russia.
The documents were only made available on the presidential website on Friday morning, although they went into effect Thursday.
The Aerospace Forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as well as several research institutes and enterprises registered in Russia and China, were specifically sanctioned.
Alexander Fedorkov, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense's State Center for Unmanned Aviation, is among those sanctioned.
Western countries accused Iran of transferring drones and missiles to Russia. Both Moscow and Tehran denied the allegations.
