Türkiye’s defense chief receives Pakistani naval chief in Ankara

ISTANBUL
Türkiye’s Defense Minister Yasar Güler on Friday received Pakistan’s Naval Chief Adm. Naveed Ashraf in the Turkish capital Ankara.
Turkish Naval Forces Adm. Ercument Tatlioglu also attended the meeting, according to a statement from Türkiye’s Defense Ministry.
The two sides discussed “matters of mutual interest, strengthening defense ties, particularly in maritime security and operational collaboration,” according to a statement posted on X by Pakistan’s Embassy in Türkiye.
