ANKARA

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed handicapped athletes and their families Thursday during International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The reception was held at ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party headquarters in Ankara and was closed to the media.

Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zumrut Selcuk and AK Party deputy chairman Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya were present at the reception.
