Turkish, Iranian presidents discuss bilateral ties, regional, global developments in phone call
Recep Tayyip Erdogan says efforts would continue in period ahead to strengthen institutional framework of relations between Ankara, Tehran

ANKARA
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian over phone on Wednesday, discussing bilateral ties, as well as regional and global developments.
Erdogan said efforts would continue in the period ahead to strengthen the institutional framework of relations between Ankara and Tehran, according to a statement from Türkiye's Communications Directorate.
Erdogan also extended his greetings to Pezeshkian for Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice which will begin on Friday.
