Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Friday's opening

Turkey's benchmark stock index started Friday at 107,300.11points with a daily rise of 0.16%, or 173,93 points.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index went up 1.21% to close the day at 107,126.18 points with a daily trading volume of 7.5 billion Turkish liras (some $1.3 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 5.7603 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Friday, compared to 5.7680 at Thursday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 6.3407, versus 6.3540, and one British pound traded for 7.4355 Turkish liras, versus 7.4570 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $63.14 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
