Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down at open
BIST 100 index loses 1,845 points from previous close

ANKARA
Turkey's benchmark stock index slipped 1.58%, or 1,844.99 points, on Monday to start the week at 114,984.4 points.
At the last week's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was up by 1.03% at 116,829.39 points, with a daily trading volume of 14.7 billion Turkish liras ($2.4 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 6.1360 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Monday, versus 6.1190 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also increased to 6.6400, compared to 6.6110, and one British pound traded for 7.9550 Turkish liras. It was 7.9350 at Friday's close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $56.52 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Monday.
