Turkey: Main opposition head seeks to win women's votes
If you want gender equality, vote for CHP, says party head Kemal Kilicdaroglu

ANKARA
Turkey's main opposition party leader has urged women to vote for his party to advance gender equality in the country.
"I call on all women ... if you want equality between women and men, the only thing you will do is to vote for [the Republican People's Party] CHP, and you will change Turkey," Kemal Kilicdaroglu told his party's parliamentary group on Tuesday.
CHP rule, Kilicdaroglu vowed, will meet all of women’s demands.
Women "will bring democracy and tolerance" to Turkey, he said.
The opposition leader also condemned the murder of university student Pinar Gultekin in the southwestern Mugla province.
Five days after disappearing, Gultekin’s body was found on Tuesday in a forested area.
Gultenkin's ex-boyfriend has reportedly admitted to the crime.
