Turkey condoles with Indonesia for deadly flood
At least 30 people killed, nearly 30,000 displaced in Jakarta

ANKARA
Turkey extended condolence to Indonesia on Thursday following a deadly flood in the Indonesian capital.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and extensive damage caused by floods and landslides in Jakarta and its surrounding areas in Indonesia on January 1st,” said a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry also extended “condolences to the friendly and brotherly people of Indonesia and wished speedy recovery to the injured.”
At least 30 people were killed and nearly 30,000 displaced by floods after torrential rains hit Jakarta on New Year’s Eve.
