Turkey condemns deadly terror attack in Burkina Faso
14 soldiers killed in attack on military convoy in West African nation

ANKARA
Turkey on Friday condoled with Burkina Faso where a terror attack on a military convoy left over a dozen soldiers dead earlier this week.
“We are saddened by the news that 14 soldiers lost their lives and a further eight wounded in a terrorist attack against a military convoy in the town of Tin-Akoff of Burkina Faso on 11 November 2020,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement read that Turkey “condemned” the “heinous terrorist attack” and extended its sincere condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
