The English football governing body has suspended Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier for ten weeks, and fined £70,000 ($94,660) for breaking betting rules.
According to the Football Association, the 30-year-old English defender denied the seven alleged breaches said to occur in July 2019.
He requested a personal hearing, and four of the alleged violations were subsequently found proven, and three dismissed by an independent inquiry commission.
The suspension, which includes all football and football-related activity, is effective worldwide from Wednesday.
The offenses are believed to have taken place when he moved to Spanish La Liga side Atletico from English team Tottenham.
