South Korea and Estonia’s defense ministers on Thursday signed a deal for Seoul to supply Estonia with its multiple rocket launcher, Chunmoo.
Under the memorandum of understanding (MOU), signed by South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back and his Estonian counterpart, Hanno Pevkur, the two sides agreed to support Estonia's acquisition of the rocket artillery system, reported Yonhap News, citing the South Korean Defense Ministry.
Details regarding the amount, size, and timeline of the plan were not immediately disclosed.
The two defense ministers met in Seoul on the sidelines of the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition, which concludes Friday, to discuss ways to expand defense and arms industry cooperation.
They also agreed to enhance defense exchanges and collaboration across multiple areas, including high-level visits, joint training, and cybersecurity.
