Saudi foreign minister, Trump adviser hold talks on regional security at Munich conference
Discussions focus on coordination to bolster stability amid mounting regional tensions
ISTANBUL
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Saturday with Massad Boulos, senior adviser to US President Donald Trump on Arab and African affairs, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said the two officials reviewed bilateral ties and discussed avenues for enhancing joint efforts to reinforce security and stability at the regional and international levels.
The talks were held as part of the three-day Munich Security Conference, which brings together senior political and security leaders to address pressing global challenges.
The meeting comes against a backdrop of heightened tensions across parts of the Middle East, as diplomatic efforts continue to contain escalation and safeguard regional stability.
