Portuguese coach says he’s ‘delighted’ to continue journey with Premier League club

ISTANBUL
English Premier League club Nottingham Forest announced Friday that it has extended the contract of manager Nuno Espirito Santo until 2028.
“I am delighted to be able to continue our journey at this fantastic football club,” Santo said after the signing ceremony.
“Since we arrived at Forest, we have worked extremely hard to create a special bond between the players, the fans and everyone at the club, which helped us achieve great things last season,” he added.
The 51-year-old Portuguese manager took charge of Forest in December 2023. He previously managed Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.
Under his leadership, Nottingham Forest finished seventh in the Premier League last season with 65 points.
