Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons put up a career-high with 17 assists in a triple-double, Turkish international Furkan Korkmaz broke his own record with 21 points to beat the Detroit Pistons 125-109 in the NBA on Monday night.

With two career highs from Simmons and Korkmaz along with 35 points from Tobias Harris, the 76ers defeated the Pistons for their 22nd victory this season.

Simmons finished with 16 points, 17 assists and 13 rebounds while Korkmaz produced 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in 21 minutes.

"Furkan gave us some good contributions," Sixers coach Brett Brown said after the match.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Atlanta Hawks 121-118 to win their third match in a row.

The Cavaliers' Collin Sexton produced 25 points, while Darius Garland scored 21 points, Kevin Love 20 points and Turkish international Cedi Osman 18 points.

Hawks' Trae Young scored 30 points and 11 assists while John Collins produced 27 points and 10 rebounds. Despite these two "double-double" performances, the Hawks took their eighth consecutive loss.

On Monday, the San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge scored a season-high of 40 points for a 145-115 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
