Mexico's retail sales rise 2.7% in November, less than estimates
Figure shows increase of 0.1% on monthly basis

ISTANBUL
Mexico's retail sales rose 2.7% in November 2023 on an annual basis, but failing to meet the market estimates, according to the country's statistical authority on Friday.
The market expectation for the figure was to come in at 3.2%, while retail sales in October increased 3.4% year-on-year.
On a monthly basis, retail sales rose 0.1% in November 2023, compared to the month before.
That figure also came lower than the market expectations of a 0.5% gain. Retail sales in October increased 0.7% from the previous month.
