Kyrgyz president receives Turkic Council head
Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev, President Sadyr Japarov discuss upcoming Turkic Council summit in capital Bishkek

ANKARA
The president of Kyrgyzstan on Monday received the head of the Turkic Council in the country's capital Bishkek, according to an official statement on Monday.
During his meeting with Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev, President Sadyr Japarov stressed the crucial role of the Turkic Council in the integration of its member countries, as well as the strengthening of multilateral cooperation, the Presidency of Kyrgyzstan said in a statement.
Japarov also noted that Bishkek attaches great importance to its membership in the Turkic Council.
Amreyev, for his part, informed Japarov on the ongoing preparations for an upcoming Turkic Council summit between heads of state and government that will take place in Istanbul on Nov. 12.
Japarov said the summit would be a good opportunity to discuss the further strengthening and development of the Turkic Council, it added.
The issue of a possible inauguration of the Turkic Council Investment Fund in Bishkek was also addressed during the meeting.
