An Iranian missile attack struck nine sites across the greater Tel Aviv area early Friday, damaging a train station and a building, according to Israeli media.
The Israeli public broadcaster KAN said Tel Aviv Savidor Central railway station suffered damage, while the Haaretz newspaper reported that debris from the Iranian missiles fell in nine locations across greater Tel Aviv.
Israel’s Channel 12 said one person was injured after debris struck several sites in central Israel.
It added that a building in Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv, was damaged in the attack.
The region has been on alert since the US and Israel launched an air offensive on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,340 people so far, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel along with Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
