SALAMANCA, Spain

Istanbul-based basketball club Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo toppled city rivals Galatasaray 91-74 in a EuroLeague Women quarterfinal match on Wednesday.

Ukrainian small forward Alina Iagupova was on fire as the Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo player scored 32 points and produced seven assists in Spain's Salamanca.


German forward Satou Sabally scored 16 points for Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo.


Iagupova and Sabally were the Fenerbahce players who scored in double digits.

Galatasaray's Epiphanny Prince had 20 points, while her teammate Samantha Whitcomb added 17 points.

Latvian center of Galatasaray Anete Steinberga made double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Before the game two, Fenerbahce now have a 17-point advantage for the final four in the EuroLeague Women.​​​​​​​

The second leg will be held on Friday in Salamanca as well.
