European stocks close with mixed figures
Indices in Italy, Spain post declines; other major indices end on positive side

ISTANBUL
European stocks closed mixed on Wednesday after a strong sell-off during the previous session.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 1.11 points, or 0.23%, to 480.90.
The UK's FTSE 100 index closed at 7,589.66, up 26.11 points, or 0.35%.
Germany's DAX 30 was up 0.24%, adding 37.16 points to 15,809.72.
France's CAC 40 increased 0.55%, or 39.15 points, to 7,172.98 points.
Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB was off 112.43 points, or 0.41%, to 27,370.85, and IBEX 35 was down 6.7 points, or 0.08%, to 8,774.9.
