In Oman, nine deaths and 846 infections were recorded as well as 1,559 recoveries over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said in a statement.

The Gulf state’s tally now rose to 77,904 cases, including 402 deaths, and 58,587 recoveries.

In Sudan, the Health Ministry confirmed five deaths, additional 72 cases and 62 recoveries.
