China launches satellite aboard commercial rocket
Rocket takes off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully placing its payload into orbit

ISTANBUL
China on Tuesday launched a satellite into space aboard the SQX-1 Y10 commercial carrier rocket, state-backed Xinhua News reported.
The launch took place at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center located in China’s northwestern Gansu province.
The rocket took off at 12.11 pm (0411GMT) from the launch facility, successfully placing its payload into orbit.
