Barcelona started the new season with a comfortable win against Villarreal under new manager Ronald Koeman.

Barcelona hammered Villarreal 4-0 in Sunday's La Liga clash while 17-year-old striker Ansu Fati was on fire by scoring two goals at the Camp Nou.

In addition Fati's two goals, Lionel Messi's penalty and Pau Torres' own goal sealed a victory for Barcelona in the first game of 2020-2021 La Liga season.

Messi made his first appearance after requesting to leave Barcelona in the summer transfer window as he also achieved to score in 17 consecutive La Liga seasons.

Barcelona won their first La Liga game this season while Villarreal collected four points in three games.
