At least 3 migrants killed when boat run aground off Greek island of Lesbos
Strong winds factor in accident, says media reports

ATHENS
At least three migrants have died when the boat they were in ran aground off the Greek island of Lesbos in the north Aegean Sea because of strong winds, media reports said Wednesday.
A male and a female, aged 25-30, were recovered, said the state-run AMNA news agency. Another body has been identified while an attempt is being made to recover another who fell into the sea.
Eight survivors have been transported to the migrant reception center, said AMNA, as one person who was injured has been transferred to the hospital in Lesbo’s capital of Mytilene.
AMNA, citing witnesses, warned that the death toll could increase as there were 36 people on the boat.
