Seven Assad regime soldiers were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Syria's capital Damascus, according to the official SANA news agency.
SANA, citing a military source, said Syrian air defenses on late Monday intercepted missiles fired by Israeli warplanes from the occupied Golan Heights towards southern Damascus.

Since the beginning of the Syrian civil war in 2011, Israel has launched airstrikes on Assad regime military sites and Iranian-backed groups.
