At least four Palestinians sustained injuries Friday in attacks by the Israeli forces and illegal settlers in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said medical teams treated an injured Palestinian in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and transferred him to hospital.

Separately, others, including a woman and two children, were injured as settlers attacked them with pepper spray near the village of Deir Nidham in northern Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Those injured were transferred to a hospital after they suffered burns to their faces from the pepper spray, according to the witnesses.

They also told Anadolu that illegal settlers attacked vehicles with stones along a road near the villages of Deir Nidham and Umm Safa.

The Israeli military raids on Palestinian cities and areas across the West Bank, along with the settlers' assaults, since last October have killed at least 716 victims, including 160 children, and injured 5,750.

The escalation follows a landmark opinion in July by the International Court of Justice that declared Israel's decades-long occupation of Palestinian land "illegal" and demanded the evacuation of all existing settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
